Three of Properta’s teams recognized in the Legal 500 Rankings
Properta continues its impressive ranking success this spring, this time with excellent placements in the Legal 500. No fewer than three of our practice areas were highlighted in the publication, and three of our partners were also recognised as leading experts in their fields in Finland.
We are particularly proud of our Real Estate team’s Tier 2 ranking in the Real Estate & Construction category. Our Real Estate team has grown significantly in recent years with several new experts, and we are grateful that this has been noticed in the industry. These additions have enabled us to serve our clients even more comprehensively on real estate-related matters — and this is precisely what our ranking reflects. Our recent work includes advising on construction contracts for a major data centre project, demonstrating our ability to handle demanding and fast-evolving assignments. The exceptional quality of our Real Estate team’s work is further underlined by the Leading Partner recognition awarded to team head Ilkka Koivisto.
The team’s newest addition, Ilari Mustonen, received particular praise from clients. Clients have described Ilari to Legal 500 as a unique professional with deep expertise in real estate transactions, development projects and construction matters — someone whose delivery clients can always rely on — and as an exceptional lawyer who takes practice to a whole new level.
Our Dispute Resolution team continues to develop and grow, earning a Tier 4 ranking in the Dispute Resolution category. The team handles disputes across a wide range of sectors, which was also recognised in this ranking. Legal 500 highlights the expertise of team leader and partner Martina Kronström in damages and financial crime matters. Our expertise in real estate and construction disputes was also noted, with partner Katja Firtser in particular praised as a highly reliable and skilled adviser who handles complex disputes with outstanding professionalism.
Our IPR team also received recognition in this ranking. The team’s strong expertise earned us a familiar Tier 2 placement in the Intellectual Property category, and both of our IPR partners, Hanna-Maija Elo and Kukka Tommila, received Leading Partner recognition. Clients commend the team’s proactive approach, broad expertise and excellent client service.
