Properta awards Summer 2019 young artist grant
A high point of the collaboration between Properta Attorneys Ltd and Salmela Art Centre occurred on Saturday 8 June 2019 when our partners Katja Firtser and Timo A. Järvinen presented the Summer 2019 young artist grant to Jasmina Ijäs at a sunny ceremony opening the Centre’s 30th annual festival.
The partnership between Properta and Salmela Art Centre enables us to support young Finnish artists as we purchase artworks for our office. The varied activities of the Centre promote young artists and culture more generally, helping to boost the careers of promising young artists and thereby also enabling us to continue enjoying a high standard of Finnish art.
Timo A. Järvinen stresses that the beauty of visual art conveys strength and harmony, even when life is getting you down.
